You’re invited to Thanksgiving at our place

Nov 19, 2015

The Salvation Army helps families prepare for Thanksgiving by giving away turkeys and all the fixings to hundreds of families in need. We also invite you to join us and other member of the community for free, hot meals.

We’ll be cooking turkey, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce and other holiday favorites at Salvation Army locations across Minnesota and North Dakota.

“We believe that nobody should go without a hot meal on Thanksgiving Day,” said Colonel Robert Thomson, Salvation Army Northern Division Commander. “Everybody deserves a place to be welcomed with open arms. We are grateful for the people we serve, the volunteers who help us serve and the opportunity we have to show others the love of Jesus Christ on this special day of thanks.”

We welcome you to any of these Salvation Army locations for a free Thanksgiving dinner. While many offer meals on Thanksgiving Day, please note that some of the holiday meals are served on Wednesday, instead.
