Roseville, Minn. – The Salvation Army and two other nonprofits are stepping up to help feed hungry people, after Sharing Korners food shelf in St. Paul closed it’s doors last week (related story). For 26 years it was a fixture at 595 Arundel St. in the Frogtown neighborhood, serving an average of 1,200 people each month.

The Salvation Army at 401 W. 7th St. in St. Paul is joining two other local food shelves to help fill the need.  Hours are 8:30 a.m. – noon, and 1-4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Help is also available at Keystone Community Services Midway, 1916 W. University Ave. in St. Paul. Hours are 10 – 11:30 a.m. and 1 – 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

And at the Hallie Q. Brown Food Shelf, 270 N. Kent St., in St. Paul. Hours are 9 a.m. – 6 p.m, Monday through Thursday, and 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Fridays.
