Roseville, Minn. – Saint Grand is back and making even bigger donations to Salvation Army kettles in the Twin Cities.

Since 2011, this anonymous donor has been dropping bundles of 10, crisp $100 bills into red kettles all over the metro area. Then in 2015, Saint Grand upped the gifts to $1,100.

So far this year, The Salvation Army received nine $1,200 gifts, one $1,000 donation, and one gift of $2,005 that featured five bundles of four $100 bills, each wrapped in a $1 bill.

“These gifts could not come at a better time,” said Lt. Col. Lonneal Richardson, leader of The Salvation Army Northern Division. “We have set an ambitious goal to raise $11.6 million in the Twin Cities this year, and our kettle donations are down from last year. We are grateful to Saint Grand to be giving so generously.”

Since 2011, Saint Grand has donated $100,804 in cash to The Salvation Army. The anonymous donor has garnered national attention, including a story in the Washington Post.
