Meal changes at Harbor Light Center

Roseville, Minn.- Beginning July 5, The Harbor Light Center in Minneapolis will only offer a free evening meal to the public Thursday through Monday, at 6 p.m.

Food will continue to be served seven days a week to Salvation Army guests who live at The Harbor Light Center.

On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, Loaves and Fishes will serve meals to the public from their mobile kitchen, which will be located on Currie Ave., near Harbor Light. Hot meals are also available on those days at these other locations:

Tuesdays

  • Holy Rosary Church, 2424 18th Ave. S., Minneapolis, 5:15-6:15 p.m.
  • Marie Sandvik Center, 1112 E. Franklin Ave., Minneapolis, 7 p.m.
  • Sharing and Caring Hands, 525 N. 7th St., Minneapolis, Breakfast, 10 a.m., Lunch at noon, Dinner, 3:30 p.m.
  • St. Stephens Catholic Church, 2211 Clinton Ave. S., Minneapolis, 5:30-6:30 p.m.
  • Lutheran Church of the Master, 1200 69th Ave. N. Brooklyn Center, 5-6:30 p.m.

Wednesdays

  • Holy Rosary Church, 2424 18th Ave. S., Minneapolis, 5:15-6:15 p.m.
  • Living Spirit United Methodist Church, 4501 Bloomington Ave., Minneapolis, 5:45-6:30 p.m.
  • New Bethel Church, 1115 30th Ave. N., Minneapolis, 5:30-6:30 p.m.
  • Sharing and Caring Hands, 525 N. 7th St., Minneapolis, Breakfast, 10 a.m., Lunch at noon, Dinner, 3:30 p.m.
  • St. Stephens Catholic Church, 2211 Clinton Ave. S., Minneapolis, 5:30-6:30 p.m.
  • Zion Lutheran Church, 128 W. 33rd St., Minneapolis, 6 p.m. (use blue door on north side of building)
  • Lutheran Church of the Master, 1200 69th Ave. N., Brooklyn Center, 5-6:30 p.m.
