Help The Salvation Army win $50,000 from Cub

Oct 1, 2018

This week you can help The Salvation Army Northern Division win $50,000 from Cub during the grocer’s “50 Acts of Cub Kindness” contest.

Helping is easy. Simply visit Cub’s contest website and vote for The Salvation Army to win. You can vote one time per day throughout the voting period, which runs now until midnight on Sunday, Oct. 7.

The Salvation Army is one of 50 charities vying for the $50,000 grant. The charity with the most votes at the end of the voting period wins.

All 50 charities have been guaranteed a $5,000 gift from Cub as part of the grocer’s 50th anniversary celebration.

“Winning the full $50,000 would allow The Salvation Army to reach countless people in crisis and provide them with life-changing resources,” said Lt. Col. Lonneal Richardson, leader of The Salvation Army Northern Division.

The Salvation Army Northern Division provides food, housing, disaster relief, rehabilitation, and a host of other services to thousands of Minnesotans.
