This Sunday is Easter, a day when Christians all over the world will celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

You’re invited to join us at any of our 26 worship and service centers across the Twin Cities, Greater Minnesota and North Dakota, including many special sunrise services, such as our 7 a.m. gathering at Como Zoo in St. Paul.

Twin Cities

Below are our church services and other activities going on at Salvation Army locations throughout the week of Easter.

  • 2727 Central Ave. NE., Minneapolis, Children’s Easter program and egg hunt on Wednesday, April 17 at 5 p.m. (register ahead of time by calling 612-789-2858). Easter Sunday potluck breakfast at 9:15 a.m., followed by worship service at 10:30 a.m.
  • 2024 Lyndale Ave. N., Minneapolis, Sunday school at 10 a.m., church at 11 a.m.
  • Harbor Light Center, 1010 Currie Ave., Minneapolis, Church at 10:30 a.m., followed by a special Easter dinner.
  • W. 7th St., St. Paul, Easter Sunrise Service at Como Zoo sunken gardens at 7 a.m. on Easter Sunday. Afterward at the West 7th Salvation Army, Sunday school at 9 a.m. followed by Easter egg hunt and family portraits at 10 a.m., with Easter church service at 10:45 a.m.
  • 2080 Woodlyn Ave., Maplewood, Dinner at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16 with an egg hunt to follow. Easter Sunday church services at 7:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., breakfast 8:30 a.m., Sunday school at 9:30 a.m.

Greater Minnesota

  • Albert Lea, 302 Court St., Easter “Son Rise” service at 8 a.m. followed by breakfast at 9 a.m., with Sunday school at 10 a.m. and  Easter celebration service at 11 a.m.
  • Austin, 409 1st Ave. NE, Easter breakfast at 10 a.m., egg hunt at 10:45 a.m., and Easter morning service at 11 a.m.
  • Brainerd, 208 S. Fifth St., Good Friday service at 6 p.m., Easter Son-Rise service at 6 a.m. Sunday morning followed by breakfast and fellowship, Sunday school at 9:30 a.m., and church service at 10:45 a.m.
  • Duluth, 215 South 27th Avenue West, Easter “Son Rise” service at 8 a.m. with breakfast to follow, and 10:30 a.m. Easter church service.
  • Hibbing, 107 W. Howard St., Good Friday service at 5 p.m. followed by a meal, with Easter Sunday breakfast at 9:30 a.m., Sunday school at 10 a.m., Easter church service at 11 a.m.
  • Mankato, 700 S. Riverfront Drive, Screening of the film “Risen” by Joseph Fiennes at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 19. Easter morning Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m., with church service at 11 a.m.
  • Rochester, 20 NE First Ave., Good Friday service at 6 p.m. Easter morning “Son Rise” service at 8 a.m. followed by breakfast, Easter egg hunt at 9:30 a.m., Sunday School at 10 a.m., Easter church service at 11 a.m.
