Giving Hearts Day: Donations doubled in N.D. on Feb. 13

Feb 10, 2020

Giving Hearts Day is North Dakota’s biggest fundraising day of the year – and it just got even more exciting:

An anonymous donor will match donations made to The Salvation Army’s six locations in North Dakota on Thursday, Feb. 13. These locations include:

  • Bismarck
  • Fargo
  • Grand Forks
  • Jamestown
  • Minot
  • Williston

Your double-matched gift will stay local and provide twice the food, clothing, youth programs, and other critical Salvation Army services for people and families in your community.

To double your donation on Giving Hearts Day, simply give online at GivingHeartsDay.org or drop off a check at your local Salvation Army.

Up to $6,500 in matching funds are available at each of the six locations.

“That’s a total of almost $40,000 in match money to help The Salvation Army fight for good across North Dakota,” said Lt. Col. Lonneal Richardson, leader of The Salvation Army Northern Division. “God bless all of our supporters for their generosity on Giving Hearts Day 2020.”
