Bakken Oil Product & Service Show launches campaign
Williston, N.D. – There was a new addition to the Bakken Oil Product and Service Show – a tailgate cook-off fund-raiser for The Salvation Army. Five teams competed in three different categories: charity challenge, top tailgate team, and judges’ favorite food. Competing businesses were Team Torque, Airgas Onsite Safety Services, Badlands Services Group, John Crane Production Solutions and Purity Oilfield Services. Team Torque took first place in both the charity challenge and top tailgate team. John Crane Production Solutions’ chili was the judges’ choice for favorite food. Over $3000 was raised to help kick-off The Salvation Army’s holiday fundraising season.
“We were honored to be a part of such an amazing event,” said Kristin Oxendahl, Community Engagement Director of The Salvation Army. “The BOPSS tailgate cook-off was a huge success, and the funds raised will make a significant impact right here in Williston and Williams County. We are so thankful for the companies who participated in the cook-off and for the people who attended and donated.”
Team Torque, Airgas Onsite Safety Services, Badlands Services Group, John Crane Production Solutions and Purity Oilfield Services gave back to Williston in a big way last week—partnerships like these are crucial to the on-going efforts of The Salvation Army.
