The annual Harvest Festival hosted by the Hibbing Salvation Army is tomorrow night, Friday, Nov. 4 at 5 p.m.
Get a start on your Thanksgiving celebration a little early as festivities kick off with a turkey dinner with all of the trimmings and dessert. The dinner is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors, and $5 for kids ages 4-12, no charge for kids three and under.
Items in the auction vary with gifts to local grocery stores, restaurants and salons. Anytime Fitness is auctioning off a membership that includes tanning, Republic Bank will auction MasterCard gift cards and Mike’s Custom Fishing Rod will auction a gift certificate. Any proceeds from the auction will help The Salvation Army fund its different programs, including Thanksgiving and Christmas events.
“We’re excited and it will be a lot of fun,” said Captain Teresa Brecto, Hibbing Salvation Army administrator. “It’s great to see the auction competition and it’s all for a good cause.”
The festival and auction will be at The Salvation Army, 107 W. Howard St., Hibbing, Minn. 55746.
