Vikings WR Adam Thielen blesses five families
Five families in need will have an outstanding Christmas thanks to Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen.
On Friday, the Pro Bowl wideout and his wife Caitlin gave the families piles of presents after the Vikings’ practice at Winter Park (view photos).
“This is the best thing that ever could have happened,” said one of the mothers, named Tifini. “We have had a really tough year.”
She and her three kids, ages 12 weeks, 9 and 13, moved out of a shelter recently.
“Christmas was not going to happen this year,” Tifini added. “Now it is. What a blessing.”
Thielen and his wife were proud to help.
“We really wanted to reach out to some families at Christmastime,” Thielen said. “It’s so rewarding to see the smiles on the kids’ faces.”
