Linden Scholarship

College is expensive. We never want students to miss out on the opportunity to continue their education because they lack financial support. This scholarship is our way of helping remove financial barriers. 

What is the Linden Scholarship?
It is The Salvation Army's way of removing barriers to higher education for people who lack adequate financial resources. Qualified individuals will receive up to $1,500 per year for attending a two-year college or $3,000 per year for a four-year college.

Qualifications

The Linden Scholarship Committee seeks students who are committed to improving their communities through active volunteer service. Additionally, the committee is looking for students who permanently reside in Washington, Ramsey, or Dakota counties, maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA, and demonstrate financial need. Recipients must be enrolled in a two-year or four-year college or vocational school.

Learning through community service
The Linden Scholarship Committee is searching for compassionate young adults who will invest in their community by actively volunteering for worthy organizations. We hope that the Linden Scholarship recipients will meet community needs and gain an understanding of the light they can bring to another's life.
