Help kids stay warm by donating to Coats for Kids collection Sept. 15-30
You can help kids stay warm by donating new winter coats for children of all ages during this year's Coats for Kids drive, which runs Sept. 15–30. You can also give new winter accessories such as hats, mittens, boots, and snow pants. Donate now.
Your generosity will help people like Katrina and her kids, who recently moved to Minnesota to escape gun violence at their former home near Chicago. They arrived with almost nothing but found hope at The Salvation Army in Maplewood, where they received winter coats and other essentials.

New coats and accessories can be dropped off weekdays from 10 a.m.–3 p.m. at any Salvation Army Worship and Service Center in the Twin Cities, Greater Minnesota and North Dakota (see list at bottom), or at Salvation Army Northern Division headquarters in Roseville, 2445 Prior Ave. N.
You can also help by donating $25, which The Salvation Army will use to buy one brand-new coat for a local child in need.
“We encourage everyone to support this important coat drive,” said Lt. Col. Dan Jennings, leader of The Salvation Army Northern Division. “Together, we can ensure that no child goes without a coat this winter.”
Salvation Army Coats for Kids has been keeping children warm for over 30 years. In that time, donors have given over 400,000 coats and winter accessories to local families in need.
