Free Thanksgiving meals in Minnesota, North Dakota

Nov 16, 2023

You are invited to eat a free Thanksgiving dinner at Salvation Army locations in the Twin Cities, Greater Minnesota and North Dakota. Everyone is welcome, no questions asked.

The meals will be served on or before Thanksgiving Day. Exact meal dates and locations are at bottom.

A special thank you to Blue Door Pub for providing Thanksgiving meals for hundreds of people enrolled in our housing and rehabilitation programs. The local restaurant – home of the famous Blucy burger – has been making and donating hot Thanksgiving meals for The Salvation Army for 10 years.

“The Salvation Army wishes everyone a safe and happy Thanksgiving,” said Lt. Col. Randall Polsley, leader of The Salvation Army Northern Division. “May God bless all of you and your time spent with family and friends.”

Thanksgiving is also a great time to support The Salvation Army. You can help by donatingsigning up to volunteer, or registering to ring bells at a Red Kettle. Your generosity will help The Salvation Army to provide food, shelter and care for local families in need.
