Donate coats at Minnesota Wild game Dec. 11
The Minnesota Wild will host a coat drive to benefit The Salvation Army on Tuesday, Dec. 11 at Xcel Energy Center before the team’s 7 p.m. game vs. the Montreal Canadiens.
Coats will be collected at Gates 1-5 from 5:15 p.m. until midway through the first period.
The Salvation Army needs donations of new and gently-used winter coats for children and adults. With a long winter ahead, these donations will be critical for individuals and families who cannot afford adequate winter wear.
Minnesota Wild defenseman Greg Pateryn will deliver all donated coats to The Salvation Army on Monday, Dec. 17. The Salvation Army will distribute the items throughout winter at its many shelters and service centers in the Twin Cities.
