Knowledge is a ticket out of poverty

By the end of the 4th grade, African-American, Hispanic and low-income students are already two years behind grade level.

By the time they reach the 12th grade, the same kids are four years behind.

Children in poverty have greater learning challenges

Children who live below the poverty line are 1.3 times more likely to develop mental delays or learning disabilities than those who don't live in poverty

Community Center

Our community center offers a variety of programs for youth throughout the year, providing a positive environment where they can learn new skills and gain confidence.

After School Program

We are re-inventing our After School Programs for 2023.  Our goal is to be more family oriented with an emphasis on “Building Life Skills and Lasting Relationships”.  These new program offerings will be updated on this website in the near future.

Day Camp
Need a safe place to send your kids for the summer? Consider our Day Camp program. We provide a fun learning environment for your elementary age children Monday through Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The program includes tutoring, enrichment activities, physical fitness and community outings to local venues such as museums, zoos and parks.  This Summer we will also take a day trip to The Salvation Army Northwoods Camp.

You can sponsor a child for one week of Day Camp experiences for only $40.00.
