Cricket Wireless launches “Like for Tikes” Campaign to support The Army

Added on Friday, November 9, 2018

Cricket Wireless is making it easy for Twin Cities residents to support The Salvation Army – simply find your nearest Cricket location in the Twin Cities on Facebook and “Like” their page.

From Nov. 9 through Dec. 9, Cricket Wireless will donate $1 to The Salvation Army for every “Like” its Facebook pages receive. The company has unique Facebook pages for each of its Minnesota retail locations. To find the location closest to you, log onto Facebook and search “Cricket Wireless Near Me.”

Cricket has committed up to $50,000 for this promotion. All proceeds will be used to purchase toys for Salvation Army centers across the country.

“We applaud The Salvation Army for all of the extraordinary work they do in the communities they serve, and we are honored to support their efforts this holiday season,” said Karissa Fletcher, local senior marketing manager, Cricket Wireless. “We’ve opened a number of Cricket Wireless locations in Minnesota this year. This campaign is our small way of giving back to the local community that welcomed us with open arms.”

The Salvation Army is thankful for Cricket’s efforts to support The Salvation Army this Christmas season.

“We applaud Cricket’s commitment to serving families in need through The Salvation Army,” said Lt. Col. Lonneal Richardson, leader of The Salvation Army Northern Division. “With Cricket’s help, many children will wake up on Christmas morning with toys under the tree.”
