Good Samaritan Clinic

When you don’t have medical or dental insurance and something happens, it can be a scary thing. Residents of Olmsted County can always turn to The Salvation Army’s Good Samaritan Health Clinic, located at 120 N. Medical Clinic

The Medical Clinic works in collaboration with Mayo Clinic and United Way of Olmsted County to provide medical care for county residents who don’t have insurance. The clinic is staffed by volunteer doctors, nurses and medical professionals from the community.

Clinic hours throughout the month address a variety of medical needs. It’s best to schedule an appointment in advance by calling 507-529-4100. The following clinics are typically available each month:

  • General medical
  • REACH (Rochester Education and Advocacy for Community Health-general adult assessments by mayo medical students)
  • Psychiatry and psychology
  • Smoking cessation (also open to residents with insurance)
  • Pediatrics
  • Eye care
  • Diabetes

Please bring a photo ID with you to check in. There is a $5 to $8 copay for each prescription.

Dental Clinic

The Dental Clinic works in collaboration with area dentists and agencies to provide emergency dental services to Olmsted and surrounding county residents. Volunteer dentists treat underserved patients with medical assistance or no insurance. The clinic is stagged by community volunteer dentists, hygienists, and assistants.

The clinic provides the following services:

  • Emergency dental care
  • Simple dental services (excluding cleanings and check-ups)
  • X-Rays
  • Extractions

We are not able to provide select services including filling cavities, denture repair, crowns, caps, bridges, braces, whitening, or aesthetic work.

Taste of the Town
