Give Joy This Holiday

Last year in Minnesota and North Dakota, The Salvation Army gave 202,000 brand-new toys to children in need, and a Christmas meal fit for a king to thousands more families – and it’s all thanks to donors like you.

You can partner with us by donating goods or providing financial support to toy collections and holiday programs in your local community, where available. (Give online to supply holiday meals, toys and other needs.) When you partner with The Salvation Army during the holidays, we’re able to give joy to local families.

Donate a Toy

Many Salvation Army centers in Minnesota and North Dakota operate toy collections throughout the holiday season in partnership with local businesses. This year, we have a partnership with AT&T stores across both states and they are our primary toy drop off location. (List of participating stores coming soon!)

Toy collection needs and dates vary by location, so please contact your local Salvation Army to learn more about your local drive and additional drop-off locations:

Bless a Family

Some Salvation Army centers in Minnesota and North Dakota offer holiday sponsorships, such as the Angel Tree program, to pair families enduring hardship with individuals or groups who provide food, clothing and gifts for each family member.

Holiday sponsorship needs and dates vary by location, so please enter your ZIP Code below to be directed to your nearest Salvation Army for local contact information:

In the Twin Cities, there is not an Angel Tree or Adopt a Family program. The best way to help local families is to provide toys for the Twin Cities Toy Shop program, which will serve about 18,000 children this year.
