Monetary Gifts

Monetary Gifts

Monetary gifts are a great way to meet the physical and spiritual needs of people who walk in our doors every day. We’ll make sure your monetary donation – including gifts made via cash, check, money order or credit card – is used in exactly the way you want to help. Whatever your passion, we have a way for you to give in support of it.

Here are three easy ways to donate:

  • Give online
  • Mail a check to: Salvation Army, 2445 Prior Ave., Roseville, MN 55113
  • Call 800-SAL-ARMY (725-2769) 24 hours a day

A gift of any amount is appreciated and helps us do the most good. Click the links below to reveal more information.

Charitable Deductions

Not only does your gift help the men, women, and children we serve, it can also help you. You can claim a charitable deduction for the year a donation is given. These are general guidelines and not professional tax advice, so please consult your tax advisor.

Honor or Memorial Gifts

You can make a donation in memory or in honor of someone online through our honor and memorial gift form. A letter will be mailed to the honoree or loved ones (amount not disclosed) to notify them of your gift.

Matching Gifts

Want to double your gift? Check to see if your company has a matching gifts program. Many businesses will match gifts given by employees to The Salvation Army. To start a matching program with The Salvation Army, please contact Kaleigh Walter at 651-746-3506.

If you would like to host an event to benefit The Salvation Army, we make it easy. Simply complete a fundraising form and we’ll contact you to smooth out the details.
