Volunteer bell ringer at red kettle

Bell Ringing

As few as one in 10 of our red kettles currently has a volunteer bell ringer by its side. Volunteers are the difference between an empty kettle and one that raises about $30 per hour – enough to provide a family with two bags of groceries or shelter an individual for a night. Can you take an hour or more at a kettle near you before the bell ringing season ends on Dec. 24?

Use the contact information or online registration links provided below to sign up. Then, check out our bell ringing video and FAQs to get ready for your shift. We also have a virtual bell ringing option available.

Virtual Bell Ringing

There’s more than one way to do the most good, and we’ve got an easy, online bell ringing option that anyone can do. The Online Red Kettle allows you to ring any time from the comfort of home. Use our system to simply set up an online kettle. Then, start raising funds that will change lives by sharing it with your family and friends, asking them to donate to your kettle or join you by starting their own. Dollars raised fund life-sustaining Salvation Army programs in your local community.
