Serving counties in Eastern North Dakota

We may not have a building where you live, but volunteer committees – called service units – help us offer assistance in every county in Southeastern Minnesota. We also operate food shelves in Fairmont and Montgomery, and Salvation Army stores in Fairmont, Faribault, Owatonna, Red Wing and Winona.

Offering Services in: Barnes, Benson, Cavalier, Dickey, Eddy, Foster, Griggs, LaMoure, Logan, McIntosh, Nelson, Pembina, Ramsey, Ransom, Richland, Sargent, Steele, Towner, Traill, Walsh, Wells

 

To get help, click on your county above to contact your local service representative. Our services vary from county to county, but we may be able to help with the following:

  • Utilities
  • Rent assistance
  • Fuel vouchers
  • Emergency transportation
  • Prescribed medication assistance
  • Emergency meals and loding
  • Emergency car repair
  • Back-to-School assistance (all counties)
  • Angel Tree Christmas assistance (select counties)
  • Fire and disaster relief
  • Transient aid
  • Other emergency needs

Volunteers are the backbone that enable us to provide services in every county. No matter where you live, we can find a way for you to help. We also have the following specific volunteer needs:

  • Train to be an Emergency Disaster Services volunteer
  • Ring a bell during the holidays (sign up details)
  • Be a member of our service unit committee (all counties)
  • Chairperson – Lead member of committee
  • Treasurer – Maintain budgets and track spending
  • Client Representative – Meet with and provide assistance to people in need
  • Kettle Coordinator – Organize fundraising during the holidays
  • To volunteer, fill out a volunteer application.

Our service center in Devils Lake is a building where people can come to get help. In other areas, simply click on your county above to contact your local service representative for help.
