We may not have a building where you live, but volunteer committees – called service units – help us offer assistance in every county in Southeastern Minnesota. We also operate food shelves in Fairmont and Montgomery, and Salvation Army stores in Fairmont, Faribault, Owatonna, Red Wing and Winona.
Offering Services in: Dodge, Faribault, Fillmore, Goodhue, Houston, Isanti, Kanabec, LeSueur, Martin, Mille Lacs, Rice, Steele, Wabasha, Waseca, Winona.
To get help, click on your county above to contact your local service representative. Our services vary from county to county, but we may be able to help with the following:
- Utilities
- Food
- Housing
- Transportation
- Back-to-School assistance (all counties). Register online.
- Other emergency needs
- Summer camp for youth
- Store vouchers (Fairmont, Faribault, Owatonna, Red Wing and Winona)
Volunteers are the backbone that enable us to provide services in every county. No matter where you live, we can find a way for you to help. We also have the following specific volunteer needs:
- Sort food shelf donations (Fairmont and Montgomery)
- Be a member of our service unit committee (all counties)
- Train to be an Emergency Disaster Services volunteer
- Ring a bell during the holidays (sign up details)

The Salvation Army operates two stores in Northern Minnesota where you can find great deals on clothing, furniture, household goods and more. Item donations help fund local programming (view donation guide).
