LINDEN SCHOLARSHIP

The Linden Scholarship Committee is seeking students who are committed to improving their communities through active volunteer service. Additionally, the scholarship committee is looking for students who permanently reside in Washington, Ramsey or Dakota counties, maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA and demonstrate financial need. Recipients must be enrolled in a two-year or four-year college or vocation school.

What is the Linden Scholarship?
It is The Salvation Army's way of removing barriers that block higher education from people who do not have adequate financial resources. Qualified individuals will receive up to $1,500 per year for attending a two-year college, or $3,000 per year for a four-year college.

Qualifications
- High school senior
-Presently enrolled in, or have been accepted to, a college or vocational school as a full time student
-Permanent resident of Ramsey, Washington or Dakota counties

Learning through community service
The Linden Scholarship Committee is searching for compassionate young adults who are investing in their community by actively volunteering for worthy organizations. Our hope is that the Linden Scholarship recipients are meeting community needs and gaining an understanding of the light they can bring to another's life.
