Free tickets for Caregiver Connections Expo
How do you care for the senior adult or family member with a brain injury who may need more support than you can manage? Where do you turn for answers to questions regarding a diagnosis or condition? Are you alone with your spouse or family member in finding the full amount of time necessary to care for and guide them while you maintain your job, home, friends and outside life?
These are common questions for your uncommon circumstances. The Rochester Salvation Army is partnering with Gateway for Providing Solutions to Older Adults and their Families (GPS) for the first-ever Caregiver Connections Expo to address these questions. View expo schedule of events.
The expo will be at the Rochester International Airport’s Event Center on Tuesday, August 20, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This is a first-of-its-kind event for our community where caregivers may interact with dozens of specialty exhibitors who offer solutions to daily challenges.
Tickets are free and available during regular business hours at these locations:
- The Salvation Army, 115 NE 1st Ave.
- Elder Network, 1130 ½ NW 7th St.
- Family Service Rochester, 1110 NW 6th St.
