Date: August 29 - 30, 2017
Time: 1 - 4 p.m. (28th) and 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Venue: The Salvation Army
For the upcoming school year, The Salvation Army is providing children whose families qualify for assistance with basic school supplies, including a backpack, and up to two changes of clothing. Any family residing in Mower County that have children Grades K-12 can apply.
If You Need Assistance
The head of household needs to be present on either Aug. 28 from 1 – 4 p.m. or Aug. 29 from 9 – 12 p.m. to pick up their supplies. Please bring your ID and have verification from the school for each child (school ID, free lunch acceptance letter, school schedule, etc.).
If you have received assistance from The Salvation Army sometime in the past two years (since 2015), not additional paperwork is needed. New families will also need to complete a new client form, sign a release, show their personal ID and have verification of each family member including adults (medical cards, piece of mail, etc.).
If you are unsure if you have a client form on file, please contact our office at (507) 437-4566 prior to the distribution.
