Pray for those experiencing instability
Have you ever been driving home from work only to realize that you have no dinner plan for the hungry mouths eagerly awaiting your arrival? Five minutes of panic can usually be quelled by a quick run-through of the items in your freezer or a stop at the neighborhood store.
What if you didn’t have a stocked freezer? What if your credit card limit had been reached? Where would you turn?
Today, we are asking you to join us in prayer for those whose basic needs aren’t met quite as easily as our own – whether it’s dinner tonight, heat for the winter or having the appropriate outfit to wear to a job interview. (Learn how we help meet these basic needs.)
Pray With Us
Heavenly Father, please help me to recognize the many ways my basic needs have been met today. For those whose lives aren’t so predictable, encourage them. Meet their needs, each and every one. Show them Your glory by bringing others into their lives who will help to supply provisions in Your name. Amen. (I just prayed!)
