Prayer topic: The hungry
The ache of an empty stomach is a pain many of us will never know. If you are a parent, can you imagine the heartbreak of telling your child there simply is no food today?
We’re breaking tradition by asking you not only to pray for those experiencing hunger today, but by challenging you to also do something about it. No idea is too small. Here is a prayer to guide you:
Heavenly Father, I am so blessed to have access to wholesome food and clean water today. For those who don’t – whether down the street or halfway around the world – please strengthen them and meet that need today. Please show me what little thing I can do to change this fate for somebody. Amen.
If you feel inspired to help someone today, let us know: “I’ll Do Something!”
