Added on Tuesday, July 30, 2013

Forget to register for the 2013 Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon? Don’t untie your running shoes just yet – The Salvation Army can still get you in.

Though general registration ended July 2, The Salvation Army secured several openings that are available for purchase now through Friday, Aug. 16. The cost is only $105.

“Drop what you’re doing and register now – we’ve only got a few openings available,” said Major Jeff Strickler, Twin Cities Salvation Army Commander.

Those who register through The Salvation Army will receive a special race shirt and be part of our Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon team. Additionally, you can support our critical food and shelter programs by fundraising for The Salvation Army through the marathon’s registration site.*

The 2013 Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon, dubbed The Most Beautiful Urban Marathon in America, will be held Sunday, Oct. 6.

Register through The Salvation Army by carefully following the provided instructions.
